Hache Man part two.

I cant respond in the other thread because Hache man jammed it up by cut and pasting to many posts. Some moderator he is.

First of all he is totally full of shit if he thinks I give one rats ass if NY Reb goes to EOG or not. This is an obvious attempt by EOG to discredit this site (what else is new).

The bottom line is that I emailed a warning to NY Reb when I realised that he was ghost posting giving him an opportunity to explain what he was up to. I waited for him to respond but he never did, I was hoping there was some rational explanation for what he was doing but he was not man enough to reply to the email. NY Reb left me no choice but to finally expose him. I did this after careful consideration and with the advice of the entire Rx. Board Room.

I don't even visit EOG and could careless what happens there but if you listen to their paid moderator Hache Man it is all I live for. Complete bullshit. Sure I read here on this site his remark about going to EOG but it did not change one iota the action I took. Had he said he was never leaving I would still have had to expose him unless he furnished me with a damm good explantion why he decided to create a ghost to promote a tout website.

This is a very sad effort by EOG to create more forum drama. The bottom line is that NY Reb ghost posted and got caught, I gave him an opportunity to explain but he did not. Quite frankly I do not enjoy exposing these posters that ghost post but it is part of the job, a part that obviously Hache Man does not comprehend.

I made the post about NY Reb taking the advice as a favor to him but he completely misunderstood me. He was acting like a fool with his constant bickering with posters who called him out for record cheating. I was trying to help him not taking sides at all.

As far as Husker goes, I did not take his side because I know he is a fanatic and anything he says has to be taken with a large grain of salt.

To sum this entire sad episode up - I simply did my job with out any malice or prejudice but end up getting accused of some sort of planned or delibrate plot to hurt or discredit NY Reb, when all I did was call him out for ghost posting (after giving him ample opportunity to explain).

I believe that both EOG and Hach Man should apologise to this forum for what obviously is a blatant attempt to slander both the site and myself.

<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1>FWIW - I never said anything about banning NY Reb but did feel obgligated to reveal that he was ghosting as Good Heart. I don't feel he is in the same category as Chicago Hotsides, Kodiak or Smokey Wins who are all actual working touts and do charge for their services.

From what I can see from his recent posts NY Reb feels he has been treated unfairly by The Rx. and some of the posters here who have called him out on his record keeping over the years and most likley he will not be posting here anymore on his own accord. Unfortunate but there is not much I can do to convince him that first The Rx. does appreciate his contributions and secondly a certain amount of bashing by posters is going to take place no matter what happens.

I wish him the best of luck with his handicapping wherever he posts.

I just got home from a late night out, and incredulously read all this stuff that's been posted since I was last here.

Wil, I never received that email from you. I changed my email address about a month ago, and have tried to let everyone know but the rx was one contact I hadn't made yet. If I had gotten the email, we would have been spared all this drama.

I met Hache Man at the rx a couple of years ago, and then it's true that for a few months we both shared membership at a certain private club, and after that went under Hache moved to eog and I found sportspickwinners to replace my 'club.' For about 25 years now I have kept up with all the pro cappers and services, and I like seeing who they are on. I've learned a lot about capping through this.

Anyway, Hache Man showed me a side of himself I never saw before tonight, and obviously he's had some pent up feelings about the rx, because I don't know why else he would bother to defend me so vigorously. I don't know anything about his previous relationship with the rx or why he quit or anything, but when people keep grievances inside for too long they tend to explode in some sort of outburst. In all my previous dealing with him he has always been very pleasant and even-minded. So obviously something is there for him that goes beyond this current NY Reb drama.

I must say, Hache Man, that at no time or place have I ever posted that I was leaving the Rx. I posted my plays at eog last weekend, and when someone mentioned to me that he had followed me over, I mentioned to him in a post that I was taking a vacation from the rx for the time being. That is the same thing I have said here, because to tell the truth, until Wil mentioned the email, I had no idea what his beef really was. I honestly thought he would consider it harmless that I was posting under a different name in the site promo area.

I have never in any way attempted to 'manipulate' rx members. I merely took it upon myself to inform them of a great consensus site I had found, and thought that some would be interested. Some, like DukeSnider, were.

I had no idea when I first posted down there that husker and his cronies from the 'free service plays' sites were going to come after me with so much hostility. I guess I was naive by thinking it would all be so simple and uncomplicated.

Anyway, sorry I missed that email

I cant read all of that, but this sounds like one giant misunderstanding and and warnings and missed e-mails and rx policy, and all sorts of he said/she said.

I love reading your writeups and discussing games with you - particularly the SEC. Not sure if you are allowed to post here, I'm not up to date on the whole thing. But if you are allowed, I think you should drop all of this, and get back in the mix and make some money with us and get your plays up.

What he said... while I may not agree with everything Reb has done, he seems like a far cry from some of the other wannabe touts that have rolled thru here, seems like a genuinely good guy, hope you decide to stick things out Reb, keep up the good capping...:toast:

Thanks for the positive encouragement, Box. You are definitely one of the good guys. I am sure things can be worked out where everyone will be happy, except those, of course, who can't stand happiness and would rather find people to attack and posters to bash. Thankfully the great majority of posters are full of good sense and rationality, and not so quick to blame.

Let's just let things work out at their own natural pace.

To be honest as far as Hache Man goes you are probably correct in saying that he has some pent up feelings about The Rx and myself in particular. Personally I think he blames me for The Shrink and The General being banned when they left this site 18 or so months ago.

You are natrually welcome to continue posting here but that is up to you. I for one do not place you in the category of the touts that were recently banned for ghost posting and hopefully the rest of the Rx. posting body will feel the same way.

For the record there never was any deliberate plot by either The Rx. any of it's moderators or myself to discredit you because you may or may not move to another site.

Great posts by all in this thread to this point. Wilheim, I think one thing we should do is assume that people's email might have changed BUT shouldn't the email kick back to the sender? It usually does. But if a mod would enter a late thread by the person of interest and post something like:

Person of Interest, you need to contact me at wilheim@therx.com at your earliest....

just to make sure, I guess. The moderators might have even done this in this case and I just didn't see it....

BUT, NYReb, stick around and let's move on from this episode of "As the Forums Turn"

NYReb, I can attest to the fact that no one in the moderating team here had/have negative feelings toward you or a vendetta or whatever you want to call it.... Honestly, the concern was for the health of these Rx forums and not any ill-feelings toward you.

Well, here I am about to defend myself and I have actually dont nothing wrong. :icon_conf

I merely heard about all of the drama going on over here with NY Reb, came over & defended him like so many other did, and then seemed to be singled out only because I was from across the street, even making a thread with my name in it to try & bring as much backlash as possible.

Everything I said in the other thread has some truth to it, the proof is there and blatantly obvious.

Maybe the posters weren't being deceived because Will wanted to do the "right thing", but it is a fact it was known well ahead of time that Reb was ghost posting before Reb mentioned he may not frequent TheRX more, and then was brought public. That actually contradicts the statement made by Wil regarding how serious he believes "ghosting" to be and would deal immediately with anyone caught doing it.

Once again, maybe Wil was trying delay the announcement as long as possible for the right reasons to benefit Reb & his friends here alike, to keep him around.

I honestly was not trying to stir up any drama and those that know me realize I am not like that. Maybe I shouldn't hinted to what I already knew in my very first post and kept my mouth shut.

Anyhow, there are group of great guys here AND across the street, and both forums are strong in many ways.

I am with Wil in trying to now stir the drama any longer and if he likes he can simply delete or move my original post that seemed to cause all of the problems, and the rest of this mess, to put an end to it. Whether or not it remains will tell a lot in if he is serious about saying he wants to end it here.

Also, NY Reb is not my cousin as someone mentioned earlier, lol

I will say it one more time, NY Reb posting plays at EOG or anywhere else had nothing whatsoever to do with the timing of me exposing him for ghost posting.

I have to agree with what HinesWard said earlier in this thread.

Husker is a scum bag, this whole time Ive been checking rebs plays I never ever knew about the service he was repping. whatever, wil, youve had a bug across your ass from the start. Perhaps you should look at another way to supplement your income beside moterating since this seems to be to aggravating for you. You were arrogant with nyreb from jumpstreet on this, you come off as a real miserable prick to me, the rx would be better off without you, straight up.

You can't be serious, I gave NY Reb every chance in the book to explain himself, you don't seem to get it do you. Ghost posting is wrong and posters that do so will be called out, "moterating" as you put it is discovering posters who abuse the site by doing things like ghost posting.

Seems to me you still harbor a case of sour grapes for the several times you have been placed on post review for profanity. Grow up.
